ServiceAbility Training Program provides Service-sector focused training and certification to participants in the Courtenay-Comox Valley region of BC. The program specializes in connecting retail and service-based employers with qualified employees.
ServiceAbility is funded by the Government of Canada and is delivered in partnership with the Province of BC through the Canada-British Columbia Job Fund.
ServiceAbility involves four weeks of full-time classroom training in literacy and essential skills, computer skills, job search strategies, customer service skills, problem solving and more, and two weeks of industry-recognized workplace certificate training designed to get you working in the Service sector. Custom workshops allow you to practice skills specific to your individual needs and the needs of local employers. The program also includes a two-week intensive on-the-job coaching as well as ongoing support.
