Vocational Rehabilitation for Veterans

Since 1994, WCG has helped thousands of individuals with a range of health-related barriers to return to work through community-based vocational rehabilitation services. Our goal is to assist clients to return to work as quickly as is safely possible.

On behalf of Veterans Affairs Canada, and in partnership with March of Dimes Canada, WCG delivers Canadian Veterans Vocational Rehabilitation Services (CVVRS) to Veterans and their families across the country. We are pleased to provide comprehensive vocational assistance to help Veterans transition their distinct capabilities and valuable skills to rewarding careers in the civilian workforce.

Transitioning to civilian life can be a challenge for any Veterans; when they have suffered a serious illness or injury as a result of service, the challenge is often more difficult. Our tailored services consider each individual’s health-related limitations and restrictions, and also take into account their range of existing skills, local labour market conditions, training needs and cultural factors.

We also provide recruitment support to employers in hiring a Veteran, including job matching services and assistance with determining job skill requirements.

Recognized around the globe for their skills, abilities and expertise, Canada’s servicemen and women can be an important asset for any organization. If you are interested in hiring a Veteran, please visit www.cvvrs.com to learn more, or call us toll-free at 1-800-933-1383.
