WCG is working in partnership with Employment Ontario, Ontario Works, and Ontario Disability Support Program service delivery organizations and other stakeholders to build a locally responsive Employment Services system that more effectively meets the needs of a range of job seekers and employers in Ontario.


WCG is excited to play an integral part in the transformation of Ontario’s Employment Services system in its current role as the Service System Manager for the Peel Region.

communities.


Reporting directly to the Canadian CEO, headquartered in BC, the Vice President of Ontario will be a transformational leader, responsible for leading and growing WCG’s Employment Services operations in Ontario. Working closely with the senior leadership team, this role will be accountable for identifying and building relationships with stakeholders within Ontario’s Employment Services industry. The Vice President will be responsible for workforce development implementation, operations leadership, and contract accountability in the province of Ontario. This role builds effective senior level stakeholder relationships, and provides oversight to ensure that business results, including financial and key performance measure goals, are achieved monthly and annually.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned executive in the public or private sectors with significant stakeholder engagement experience. You are an exceptional relationship builder and known as a collaborative and strategic leader. Ideally, you will have significant programme, contract or service delivery management experience, and an understanding of managing Ontario government funded contracts and services. Understanding the dynamics of a political environment will be crucial for success in this role. You will have an innovative mindset, coupled with the energy, drive and fortitude to move WCG Services forward.
